Longitudinal submerged arc welded pipe is a steel pipe material formed by JCOE process. LSAW steel pipe, one weld line, submerged arc welding process, and the specification range is 325mm -1420mm. When the diameter of longitudinal submerged arc welded pipe is greater than 914.4, the standard stipulates that the steel pipe is allowed to have two straight welds. The products of longitudinal submerged arc welded pipes shall comply with GB/T3091-2008 standard for low pressure fluid steel pipes, GB/T9711.1 (2) -1997 executive standard for oil and gas pipelines, and ASTM A252 American executive standard for welded structural steel pipes. The production process of longitudinal submerged arc welded pipe is flexible and can produce any specification and wall thickness within the production range. The production efficiency is lower than that of high-frequency longitudinal seam welded pipe and spiral welded pipe. The advantage of LSAW pipe is that it can produce the sizes which high-frequency steel pipe, spiral steel pipe and even seamless steel pipe cannot made.
