Introduction of high-frequency welded pipes
High frequency welding uses solid resistance heat as the energy source. During welding, the resistance heat generated by high-frequency current inside the work piece is used to heat the surface of the welding area of the work piece to a molten or near plastic state, and then the top forging force is applied (or not applied) to achieve metal bonding. Therefore, it is a solid phase Electric resistance welding method.
High frequency welding can be divided into contact high frequency welding and induction high frequency welding based on the way high-frequency current generates heat in the work piece. When in contact with high-frequency welding, high-frequency current is transmitted to the work piece through mechanical contact with the work piece. During induction high-frequency welding, high-frequency current is generated inside the work piece through the coupling effect of the external induction coil. High frequency welding is a highly specialized welding method that requires specialized equipment according to the product. The advantages are high productivity, welding speed up to 30m/min and mainly used for welding longitudinal or spiral seams when manufacturing pipes.
