What is LSAW?

LSAW is short for Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding.
LSAW steel pipe is Longitudinal submerged arc welded steel pipe with one or double straight weld lines.Also called SAWL
It has carbon steel LSAW steel pipe, stainless steel LSAW steel pipe and alloy steel LSAW steel pipe. Because LSAW steel pipe is a kind of SAW pipe. SAW steel pipes also include HSAW Steel pipe, SSAW steel pipe, DSAW steel pipe. And HSAW pipe is SSAW steel pipe which means helical welded steel pipe or spiral steel pipe. DSAW is one kind of large size double welded SAW steel pipe.
Submerged arc welding is a welding method that uses an arc as a heat source. During submerged arc welding, the arc is burned under a layer of granular fusible flux, and the arc is not exposed, hence the name of submerged arc welding. The metal electrode used is a continuously fed light welding wire.
LSAW steel pipes formed by the JCOE, JCO, UOE, but JCOE, JCO are easily changed the sizes as per production need. The advantages of LSAW steel pipe are producing the large diameter and thick thickness welded pipes with good quality and reasonable prices.
